The case is great for horizontal viewing, although doesn't prop th expand up at a door step angle as you might expect. It is comfortable to carry (I read my ipad mini on the tube and read it upside down so I can hold onto and command it with one hand) and the profile is slim so although it won't fit in a pair of jeans pockets any more, it hardly adds any weight and is no hassle.
